Negligence at Drug Rehabilitation Center

Parents Matthew and Suzan Holten have sued the drug rehabilitation center, Narconon Arrowhead, for negligence in their daughter’s death. The lawsuit filed alleges the facility did not provide adequate medical care for their daughter, Hillary Holten. Holten died April 11, one of three recent deaths at the facility in Canadian, in southeastern Oklahoma. In the lawsuit, the Holtens said they informed Narconon that their daughter had a condition which limits the adrenal glands' ability to produce enough cortisol, and she needed to take a steroid daily. The lawsuit says the facility informed the Holtens that a registered nurse and a medical director could manage her condition. The Holtens are obviously having a hard time seeing that her condition was managed.
