Wet Dance Floor Leads to Personal Injury

A personal injury suit has been filed against Pop’s Saloon in Sauget, as Stanley Pyszka of Mt. Vernon claims that on Jan. 15, 2005, he was standing against the stage of Pop’s dance floor when another patron, Jason Vanmeter, slipped on the wet floor and collided with him. Sustaining severe and permanent injuries to numerous parts of his body and nervous system the suit claims Pyszka lost great sums of earnings and will incur further loss in the future. Pyszka claims Pop’s was negligent for not warning patrons of the spilt drinks on the dance floor and for not maintaining it properly.
