Trasylol Causes Heart Attacks and Strokes

According to a new study by the New England Journal of Medicine and the FDA, Trasylol (aprotinin) is linked to strokes, heart attacks and renal failure. Trasylol is used for patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting surgery (CABG), to help control excessive bleeding and inflammation. Many patients who have been given Trasylol are not aware of it, even after surgery is complete.
