Strip Club Loses Wrongful Death Lawsuit
A strip club in Mobile, Alabama is being forced to pay $2.8 million in a wrongful death lawsuit. Sammy's club was accused of serving alcohol to Charles Holland even though he was already intoxicated. The club was subsequently held responsible for Holland killing a teenager when he crashed his car later that night (22NOV03). Holland was convicted on a manslaughter charge last year (05) for the death and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
