Seven Dead After Weekend Car Accidents in Alabama
According to Alabama state troopers, at least seven people died in Alabama over the weekend as a result of car accidents. This includes 28-year-old Travar Johnson of Frankville and his passenger, Jimmy Curtis Franks, 25, who died after Johnson's car hit another vehicle head-on. William Arthur League III was another accident victim who died when his car hit a bridge abutment, causing his car to fall into the Flint River and League to be ejected onto the riverbank. Fatalities were also reported in Lauderdale and Baldwin counties.
