Police Locate Hit-and-Run Car
Police in San Diego may have found the car linked to a hit-and-run accident that left a teenager with severe injuries on Sunday (12NOV06). 19-year-old Whitney Young was hit by a car when she was crossing an intersection at Montezuma Road and College Avenue with four friends. She was taken to hospital with a serious brain injury and several broken bones. And now the car that hit her may have been located at a local body shop. Young remained in a coma on yesterday (15NOV06) at Scripps Mercy Hospital. There is a $10,000 reward for anyone who can give information leading to the arrest of the car driver. According to investigators, the car may have been lowered to drive closer to the road and could have right-front bumper damage.
