New Hampshire Children Injured in Collision

Two young girls were injured yesterday (20DEC06) after being hit by a car in Weare, New Hampshire. The girls, ages seven and nine, were by the side of the road when they were struck by a car driven by Michelle Housman, who was swerving to avoid crashing into a bus. Housman had been talking to her seven-year-old son in the back seat and failed to see the bus. The girls were thrown onto the roof of the car, but only suffered from minor bruising. Housman was not charged as police had determined her actions were not reckless, negligent or intentional.
