Motorcycle Tragedy

Racing through a motel parking lot, caused a tragic motorcycle accident. The driver of the motorcycle, a 55-year-old man whose name has not been released, lost control of his bike after hitting a dip in the pavement and slammed into a stone building at a high rate of speed. Frances Goodermuth lives in the motel room that the motorcycle crashed into and said, "I just heard 'boom' and saw the table flying and I was like what the ... then I saw him mangled against the wall and there was nothing I could do." The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident from blunt force trauma to the head. Other witnesses said that the driver had lined up his motorcycle with another man as if they were going to race across the parking lot. As the driver took off, the competitors bike stalled, but he continued on and then lost control.
