Lost Leg in Head on ATV Collision

Michael Jones, 21, and Blaine Stevens, 18, were on an all-terrain vehicle when Joshua Rodriquez was driving in his Pontiac and crossed into their lane. Rodriquez crossed into the oncoming lane at the “curve” where two roads meet and collided head on with the ATV. The accident severed Jones’ right leg, broke several of his bones, including his hip and shoulder. Stevens suffered a severe head injury and his first and second vertebrae were broken. Rodriquez had no injuries and charges against him are possible based on the investigation.
