Five People Injured in Car Wreck
Five people were injured over the weekend (24NOV06) when two cars collided at the intersection of U.S. 27 and Ky. in Somerset, Kentucky. Carthel Beshears, 80, was injured when his truck was hit by a 1994 Ford driven by Brandi Allen, 31, who was traveling south. Beshears and 13-year-old Danelle Owens, a passenger in Allen's vehicle, were taken to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, while Allen and two other passengers, Krista Owens, 11, and Owens, 9 were taken to the Somerset hospital.
