David McDonald, 47, and a female friend began fighting when they couldn’t decide on what show to watch. As soon as McDonald began hitting, the woman’s pit bull began biting him – once on each leg and once in the scrotum. The woman told police that she tried to call 911 on her cellphone, but McDonald grabbed it, smashing it to the floor. McDonald then picked up a wooden cane and began beating the dog. David McDonald was arrested and charged by police with cruelty to animals as well as assault and battery on the woman
