CHP Recommends Manslaughter Sentence for Dangerous Driver
The California Highway Patrol are recommending that charges of vehicular manslaughter be brought against a man who killed a six-month-old baby after driving his SUV into three people. 43-year-old Douglas Jones caused the tragedy in August (06) when his car jumped a curb onto the sidewalk where a man, the man's daughter and infant niece were walking. Officials believe Jones should be charged with vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence.
