Auto Personal Injury Suit Set for Trial

The personal injury trial of Albert Lee and Louella Thomas vs. Victoria Belle Outlaw began Tuesday, Aug. 14. According to the plaintiffs' original petition, filed Dec. 28, 2005, the Hardin County couple was traveling westbound when Outlaw made a left turn out of a private drive and struck their vehicle. The plaintiffs believe the collision and their injuries were caused by the negligence of Outlaw, who they claim "failed to yield the right-of-way to oncoming traffic," the suit said. The plaintiffs are suing for past and future physical pain, mental anguish and medical expenses.
