An illegal street race left 8 people dead and 5 injured. After the two cars sped off down the highway, some spectators moved onto the road to watch when a white sedan came from behind crashing into the crowd. It’s believed smoke from the spinning tires of the two cars had made it difficult for the driver of the sedan to see the crowd. One officer said the accident scene is one of the worst he's ever witnessed.
